Yesterday I started a hobbit character and I was amazed at the scenery. Exactly how you would expect the Shire to look like ! I was even more surprised about the fact that it's a different experience than the other two starting area. Quests for hobbits are much more focused on running around.
There are also your fair share of kill this and do this quests, but the percentage of please bring this to that place type of quests must be a lot higher. There is also a series of postman
quests, you have to run to the next town carrying a bag of mail without
being seen by nosey hobbits ;). I only did a few, some of them are quite long and when you get noticed by a nosey hobbit when you're almost there is quite annoying.

Anyway, I got quite a lot done and Monto the Minstrel is now at lvl 11, my highest lvl character ! By the way, the short instanced 'A gift to the north' quest was a pleasure to do. I can see how a minstrell can really benefit a group with his healing of course, but his other buffs really help as well and he can also add some damage. Very nice.
