The game so far

So far I haven't played that much, just a few nights a week, and usually on saturday or sunday a somewhat longer session. Like today, I played from early afternoon till around six, doing a bunch of groupquests with my Minstrel's kinship in the Outlands and it was a load of fun ! Finally also upped my Farming skills and making some mushrooms and carrots, so I could easily up my cooking skill. The food's buffs are nice, but thye duration is rather short. They should really up it to 15mins or so, so it's more useful. After all it takes quite a bit of silver and effort to get some of the foods.

So far Monto Mudfoot is lvl 23 now, 3/4 towards lvl 24. The other chars are a little bit on hold at the moment. Have a lvl 13 guardian, 15 lore-master and a low-lvl elf hunter. The minstrel and the guardian are both my favorites so far, the lore master is a bit hard to place, I have never seen a class like that in any other game.

Is the game perfect ? No, there are some gripes, nicely summed up on
the Grumpy Gamer Blog, plus the above mentioned food buff gripe, plus crafting overall is a bit too expensive. The repair bills are a bit over the top and so are the skill you have to buy. Though you only have to get skills every other level or so, and money is coming in a bit easier now past lvl 20. A lot of stuff you loot you can sell for a very decent price, so make sure you pick everything up as you go along ! Talking about lvl 20, the quests have a bit of weird gap in the early 20s. Most quests are either too easy or too hard. Grouping up with someone else at that level is definately recommended.

Is the game enjoyable ? Yes very much ! There are no major issues, it looks wondeful and already met some very nice people in the game to go quest with. And there is also plenty to solo.

All in all I am definitely keep on playing, it's a very nice layed back game to spend a few hours on every now and then .
