Greetings Sabre. We’re very interested in joining your guild and we thought it might be helpful to tell you some more about us.
This is a joint application to join, from myself, Xayna, a level 80 holy priest, and Verate, a level 80 tankadin. In real life, we are 28 (for a little longer!) and 24 respectively and live in the south west of the UK. We are getting married in September.
Our WoW history probably takes a bit more time to cover (speaks volumes!).
I started out playing WoW on the US servers, where I levelled a human priest to 56, in a small guild made up mostly of rl friends and their friends. They then decided to move over to the EU servers, where we all rolled horde for a change. I created Xay then and have played her for more than three years.
My guild then decided to move again, to Moonglade and re-roll alliance (they’re actually settled there finally!) and I decided to stay on Aggramar because of the number of friends I had there. I joined Warseeker Tribe, which has been my home for the past three years.
While there, I had a go at pretty much everything. I helped form an alliance with other guilds, called Unity, which did relatively hardcore raiding, and was an officer within that, priest class leader, healing leader and an officer within the guild.
WST grew a lot in TBC and beyond and raided on its own. Due to rl constraints and raiding burnout, I cut my raiding back to primarily 10-man and occasional 25-man runs. I have two priest alts (I like priests!), one shadow (70) and one disc (64ish) but don’t really play them at the moment.
As for Verate, he began WoW and immediately joined The Mooks around four years ago (where he met one of your current members: Tala) but after several months at level 60 decided to go elsewhere and joined WST, staying there for three years or so. He became good friends with a number of people and took on the role of “PvP Co-ordinator.”
Again, like me, he cut his raiding back to 10-man runs and eventually to very little due to outside commitments. His time is spent questing and levelling up various alts at the moment, including a Death Knight, Mage and Druid.
Fast forward three years, and our priorities in the game have changed a lot. This is intrinsically related to why we left Warseeker Tribe, so I will explain that here, as it may seem strange to many to leave a guild we had been so active in for so long.
Warseeker Tribe is a great guild, we just both no longer felt at home there. It has a keen raiding focus and a very large community and no longer really caters for what we were after.
We both left on good terms with the guild and remain in touch with many of our friends there. What we are looking for in the game is a small guild, where you have some sense of community, but also have the choice to either be left to your own devices or to help others out and engage in a bit of banter, and while we have a sense of humour as good as anyone’s, our preference is for a more mature guild chat. We both enjoy doing heroics and would love to do occasional 10-man raids, but also don’t mind if that doesn’t happen. We don’t have any interest in 25-man raiding, and my main WoW activity currently is exploring the achievements, while Verate loves to PVP or level up new alts.
We’re both more than happy to play on our own or to interact with like-minded players and having looked at what Sabre has to offer, feel it could be the perfect new home for us both.
We look forward to hearing from you and are happy to discuss anything further.

/Xay and Verate
