It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s nice that they are sharing this information now, probably as a response to the release of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eveonline.com\/news.asp?a=single&amp;nid=3991&amp;tid=1\">the minutes<\/a> of the CSM 5 meeting, which caused quite some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eveonline.com\/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&amp;threadID=1352338\">turmoil<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We already knew that Incarna is the main focus for Eve at the moment, but 9 teams, 70 developers ? That sounds like it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a bit much. And we still don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know what we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be able to do in Incarna. Just walking around a bit and play station games or will there be more ?<\/p>\n<p>Also 10 for evegate is a large number. It doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t look all that complicated to me. Then again my job is making business applications, which are mainly front ends for database manipulation, so maybe I am wrong and it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a lot more complicated than it looks.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, this all results in this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In the 2011 winter expansion we\u00e2\u20ac\u02dcll certainly focus more than ever before on iterating and polishing up all the features that EVE has expanded to in the then eight years. What those specific systems are, I don\u00e2\u20ac\u02dct know as we haven\u00e2\u20ac\u02dct started the planning phase for that yet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s kinda tough to accept when it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s actually \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcwritten in stone\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 like this. Basically development for <strong>Eve the Space Game<\/strong> has been halted for 18 months or so.
